Timothy David

We proudly announce the arrival of our son, Timóteo Davi Arnold Ferreira, born on January 16 in Ananindeua, PA, Brazil, and weighing 7.9lb (3.6kg). Prouder parents never existed!

In Tim's first week, he managed to get all of his documents drawn up in Belém, including American and Brazilian passports and birth certificates. It was an exhausting process, especially for me as I am recovering from a caesarian, but now that we're back home in Porto de Moz, we're finding ample time to rest and recuperate. We thank you for your love and prayers that have sustained us through a very busy and tiring 9 months of pregnancy. Please pray for our continued strength as we reorganize our lives around church planting, baby raising, Railson's studies, and my work at the hospital.

We love you and want you to know that despite our lack of personal correspondence, you, along with all our friends and supporters, are always at the forefront of our thoughts and prayers. We could not do what we're doing without you!

Children receiving gifts

Concerning our plans for 2001, we see many opportunities to dive more deeply into the ministry, including holding quarterly retreats for our brothers from the churches in the near interior, expanding our worship team with a new leader, and multiplying our family groups. Please pray for the Lord's continued wisdom and guidance as we step through these doors.

Our love, Heidi & Railson
